About the Venue

The Venue - New Gupta Vraja

The Recharge Festival is held in the picturesque native New Zealand bush setting of New Gupta Vraja, 12kms down the Otaki Gorge, just one hour north of Wellington.

New Gupta Vraja is home to 20 acres of native bush and birds with fruit trees and vegetable gardens too!

There are two main buildings:

  1. Krishna Kunja – main event hall for the Recharge Festival and,
  2. Gaura Haven – separate smaller accommodation facility.

This tranquil setting, teamed with spiritual food, sounds, discussions & company, is simply… nectar!

During the year New Gupta Vraja is used for private retreats and working bees, encouraging simple, healthy living and time for contemplation and meditation.
